Recommended Computer Speed Up Software

We have reviewed many different software packages in the past and we figured we would compile a list of the software that we thought was the best computer speed up software. The software includes optimization software, registry cleaners, spyware cleaners, and more. All of the software below is software we would recommend.

SpeedUpMyPC - This computer optimization software did a great job as well when it comes to improving overall PC speed. In our tests of SpeedUpMyPC, it improved our startup time by 24 seconds, improved the PC's PassMark Performance score by 10 points, and freed up 100 megs of RAM that were previously being used.

PC Matic by PC Pitstop - PC Matic did a great overall job when it comes to speeding up a computer. This comprehensive PC speed up software covers the registry, startup, Internet speed, junk files, hard disk fragmentation, spyware scan, and memory utilization.

Auslogics Boostspeed - This is another computer optimization software that did a solid job at speeding up our computer and improving overall PC responsiveness.

Defraggler - This hard drive defrag tool is free and offers many features that the Windows defrag tool doesn't offer. We also found that it defragged a bit quicker than the built-in Windows tool.

RegistryBooster by Uniblue - This registry cleaner does a good job of tuning up your registry and we would consider it one of or even the top registry cleaner. In our tests, RegistryBooster sped up Windows and reduced system errors.

PC Tools Spyware Doctor with anti-virus - PC Tools offers a great product to keep your PC safe from spyware and viruses. It is very important to have an anti-virus software installed on your computer and PC Tools offers a great one. This software won't necessarily speed up your computer unless you have a virus or spyware issue.

Norton AntiVirus 2010 - Norton has been a high quality anti-virus for years. Our test of Norton Anti-Virus proved yet again that it is a quality product. This software won't necessarily speed up your computer unless you have a virus or spyware issue.
