Cyber Attack from China

McAfee submitted a post last week on their site that says that the Chinese cyber attacks, which are now code name Aurora, took advantage of previously unknown vulnerability in Internet Explorer browser.

In the post, McAfee says it is collaborating with companies hit by the attack as well as government and law enforcement agencies in analyzing several pieces of malicious code that were used in the attack. According to the post, IE is vulnerable on all Microsoft's operating system and that the company, Microsoft, would soon issue an advisory. McAfee made it clear, in the post that it has found no link between Adobe's Acrobat and the attacks. This new cyber threat from China may be the biggest the world has ever seen.
