iexplore process
Internet Explorer
What is it
The iexplore.exe process is the executable file of Microsoft Internet Explorer. Internet Explorer is one of the most common web browsers out today.
Recommendation
This is a non-critical process, but ending this process will close your Internet Explorer browser session. There are versions of iexplore that are registered trojans. This Trojan allows attackers to access your computer from remote locations, stealing passwords, Internet banking and personal data. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system.
